Photo Sketchbook - George Wagner

Moments are fleeting. Something may catch your eye and with nothing else to capture it, you have the modern convenience of a camera phone. It's of lesser quality than an SLR camera, but the distortion gives the images a more graphic look to work with. The nature of seeing these sights & how the camera captures the photo is entirely up to chance. Sometimes the sun prevents me from even seeing the screen when I take the shot. In spite of the abstraction, these photos bear an impression of the scene, like a memory. They explore emotion, imagination, abstraction, and aesthetic. Every moment is seen through different eyes, so these photos are open to the interpretation of the viewer, regardless what I say about them. What they mean to me won't be the same for you.
